Mares tail

Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar, add a touch of washing up liquid, and a cup full of salt. Crush the mares tail first by walking on it and spray. You should see results fairly soon, may need a few sprays but works for us. A two litre bottle.

My next door neighbours garden is solid mares tail and I pull any bits coming up on my side and it seems to stop bothering trying to come this direction.

Absolute nightmare at first, but I eventually got on top of it, after a couple of years. The key is not to let it get you down, because it can do..!

Just keep plucking it out, as soon as you see it. 

I cleared a lawn of it when i did gardening work,each week just picking out everything i could and won the battle in the end..A fuckedy fucksake of a job for sure though..

I'im supposed to be attending college next month for the spraying course, I've never liked the idea of spraying chemicals on the land, didn't they find some link between glyphosate or some other weedkiller and parkinsons disease some years ago?. Anyway it's to be included in one of the many courses I get put through, so will go down to do it, but I will avoid any use of the stuff during work

Glyphosate is linked to all sorts of nasty things, it’s hideous stuff…..and it gets used all the time everywhere !

Its makers are I believe Bayer or a subsidiary of Bayer….the same Bayer that own Monsanto, the GM crop masters of the world !

The sub surface damage this stuff does is catastrophic

All your crops are round up ready genetically modified aint  they farmers spray thousands a  gallons of the shit doing it now I make sure winds other way walking the dogs 

Me old lady's next door pouring it on the garden from work few of  her dogs got cancer on the tonge and  foot early since 

The drive about the street spraying it on weed from a quad here

Bingo !……all you can do is buy organic, grow a bit of your own…..it’s the reason there are only about 40 harvests left in British soil according to some studies !!

You need fertilisers mate dont you best land for growing corn etc  in the country wouldn't produce without it you didn't have the fertilisers and the herbicides etc you wouldn't feed the people would you ?
