Sad news for Wales. Just been hearing that greyhound racing is band now. f****d up over 100 years of racing just taken away by the f***ing government

Notice it always seems to be the working man's sports that get banned......look at the loophole the hunts had with the hunting act yet hare coursing was thrown under the bus.....same shit happening again greyhound racing but I bet horse racing will be safe, not that I would choose any of it to be banned......but there's deffo a trend there

You could always take it to the court of human rights like coursing and fox hunting they are traditions same as Spain did for bullfighting and won

I think it's more to do with the youth of today. Years ago when was kids alot of our dad's where into their dogs wether ferreting lamping digging etc round where I was so we wanted to get out wi them. Lads who's dad's wernt but hung around with us wanted to come out. Also we'd be out dossing any weather any chance we'd get only be inside when we had to. Now they Don't go outside they mess on a xbox all day or whatever then end up goin to college uni think there all bein rebels different by protesting about anything most things they av no idea about. So things like the greyhound racing gets band because the younger generation av no intrest in it can get behind saving the greyhounds life nonsense etc. The pub scene same soon as you cud get in you was out thurs Fri sat sun now they don't go out till midnight etc

2 mins up the road from me..grew up going back and forth as a kid,as there was a few families that kept a few in kennels on the estate,they also used to let us race/run our lurchers up there before the races used to start,good night out in fairness

They done it in Wales they trying to do it in Scotland and it will effect other parts there's money in that industry dog racing they now how to ruin peoples lively hoods and what going to happen to them dogs hate to think they couldnt care what happened

No active greyhound tracks in Scotland but I believe the pastime is doomed for all
