Borr 8,915
I've spent last couple of days doing tip runs clearing stuff , trying to store stuff more efficiently, I'm almost at a point to sort out fishing gear , the price of space involves ruthless clearance.... 2

Don’t start on sorting fishing gear until you have thrown away everything your wife and kids own….unless it’s their fishing gear ! lol 1
gnipper 7,097
Fishing stuff and rabbit nets etc are easily stored and harder to replace when you pick up the hobby again.

chartpolski 29,312
I was never a hoarder, far from it; “everything has a place and everything in its place” was my credo ! Then I got two big allotments and now nothing gets thrown out ! Everything goes “down the allotment”. Ive become an accidental re-cycler! Coffee jars , milk containers etc find a use. Old pots and pans become poultry feeders, old duvets, blankets become plant fleeces in the poly tunnels, every gets taken their, “just in case I need it “ Cheers. pesky1972 5,831
I must have 8 or 9 rods that I haven’t had out for two, maybe three decades. I’m always looking for an upgrade, especially if I can get a bargain. Those rods will NEVER be used by me again, so why can’t I throw or give them away? Similar thread last year where I posted about getting rid of probably half the flies in my boxes. Flies I’d never use again. Maybe this will be the year I get rid of those old rods.., make a bit of space for new ones.
