Anyone bringing "cartels" into this is quite frankly brain dead. This is not now or ever anything to do with cartels. It's about oil, resources and who profits from it.

Used to be the richest in Latin America mate. Storms killed their banana industry and social tensions broke their back. Then this nutter got into power and basically pillaged the country, ruined it's economy and made billions selling drugs (allegedly).

Im less concerned about Venezuela than the fact that clearly now international law is gone. The green light been given for any super power to invade, attack, regime change so long as it's in the interests of the big corporations.....and I hate to tell yiz but england ain't no super power anymore, yiz are in the same f***ing class as us. Yiz are cheering trump like yiz are an equal and he doesn't give a flying f**k about yer failed empire. Sad really. Yiz long for the glory days of yer empire but it's over.
