Why I think it's BS is that why would the guy filming turn away from a BF to film the mountain, you wouldn't take the camera off it.

Surely people must see that there are people in tv world capable of outrageous feats 

Look at some of the long distance swimmers etc , the lad who free climbed El Capitan , people flowing Round a marathon in just in slightly more than two hours . I ran a half marathon after a long period of altitude training ( I did an African mountain numerous times in a short time frame ) and I went round a route that is regarded as being a slow route in 1 hr 18 . Those Elite marathon runners do that half an hour quicker . Thats unreal speed and cadence . 
 

once you accept that some people’s body’s are just built different , things like that video don’t look so unusual anymore
