I'd grab handfuls . This thread made me look at snakes for sale . I looked at a place that sells them in Birmingham. It was absolutely amazing to see the stunning snakes that you can buy now, and the coloured variants . You should have seen some of the royal pythons on the website , they just blew me away. When I last kept snakes . Some of the experts were just starting to understand and mess around with genetic mutations , but f**k me you should see them now. I've got two spare rooms now , and could afford to build and fill the snake room that I always wanted . When I first bought a royal python , you still had the choice of captive bred , or wild snake. Oh my God,I want to see a hibernaculum as well, some day I have seen 15-20 garters when out and about,I have seen loads of snakes in the wild, king cobras and pythons and all sorts,I have seen komodo dragon in the wild.I have seen some of the genetic mutations at at a reptile store in LA,you should get some mate, and tarantulas. That garter is as cute as any piglet fawn or foal mack. I've kept tarantulas , scorpions, lizards etc , but snakes were always my favourite. They're just such amazing creatures. How can something with no arms and legs thrive in the way that they do . They climb trees , they swim , they kill and eat prey many times bigger than their own head. Just amazing.

There’s loads of garter snakes here mate,my dream is to see the thousands that emerge from a hibernaculum after a hard winter,if you get some more snakes stick a pic up. That would be like finding gold mack. My snake room is just a dream ( i think). Looking at that shop in Birmingham earlier, I could have happily bought every royal that they had. They were stunning. WILF 51,564
No offence to anyone but I always want pet snakes to kill their owners…..most of all people who keep the highly dangerous types ! Just why ?……..if there were ever creatures that were not meant to be kept as a pet it’s reptiles & spiders ! I don’t have anything particular against snake people, I feel exactly the same about people who keep tigers, bears, chimpanzees etc…….a massive part of me looks forward to the report that they have been found picked apart like a roast chicken by said pet ! 1 1

When they think they have a relationship with a reptile because it lays alongside them on the bed only to find out it’s actually measuring them to see if they fit inside lol

You must know enough about reptiles to know that that is complete nonsense, made up by someone that knows absolutely nothing whatsoever about snakes .

What's wrong with interesting or different pets wilf ?. I can understand it being odd when people see them as almost human , with human traits , but liking something that's a little bit different is no bad thing.

No, I get it mate, I just don’t see how they fit into a domestic setting….in the wild, yep, 100%…..fascinating in how they operate, could watch studies and documentary’s about them all day long…..but curled up in a glass box in a 3 bed semi in Basildon while some geezer who cuts about like Steve Irwin reincarnated tells everyone who will listen about how lethal these things are “but” he has a bond with “his” cobra ?…..nah, don’t get it at all ! I just so badly want to see the cobra attached to his face or his last few breaths as the python is wrapped round his wind pipe ! It’s not particular to reptile people, but I have never actually met anyone who keeps a Tiger or bear so I have to just enjoy reports on the news that they have found part of a lower leg complete with 1982 converse basketball boot and part of their skull with the ponytail still attached !

I completely disagreed with you , right up to the ponytail. I think that any bloke with a ponytail, should be fed to a tiger
