every time we go to Stockton we have to go into that fish shop with the f***ing pythons in . Does me in , normally leads to a domestic in the shop , with her giggling and making hiss noises at me as we stare at some f***ing canoe sized rock python that is 350 quid away from being taken home by some f***ing moron in a terraced house . 

for afters a blazing row in the car park and a silent journey on the way home.

That would be worth it to see a couple of cotton mouths,I have looked for rattle snakes a few times this year and disappointingly never found one.

Overrated and underwhelming mate 

I just can’t do them mate . Nothing else bothers me , ever, Swam in the sea at night in the carribean , walked through forests on my own in Africa , soon as them soulless wriggling motherfuckers turn up , I’m like a 3 year old crying for his mam . I’m that scared of them I can’t even pick up a robot or toy one .

You should get a pet garter snake , and sit next to it every night , until you're not scared of them any more .

Mind you , a healthy respect for rattlesnakes can only be a wise thing .

I’ve said this but with my luck it would get out after a week and that would mean I’d have to move house

I once lost a Chinese rat snake in my mates car. He was terrified of snakes and had to sell the car

I also once lost a grass snake in my flat. It turned up on the neighbours sofa across the landing. When I got home from work , the police and rspca were there sorting it out .

I'd love to see them in the wild mack . Especially a huge nest of them, coming out of hibernation . I'd grab handfuls .

This thread made me look at snakes for sale . I looked at a place that sells them in Birmingham.  

It was absolutely amazing to see the stunning snakes that you can buy now, and the coloured variants . You should have seen some of the royal pythons on the website , they just blew me away.

When I last kept snakes . Some of the experts were just starting to understand  and mess around with genetic mutations , but f**k me you should see them now.

I've got two spare rooms now , and could afford to build and fill the snake room that I always wanted .

When I first bought a royal python , you still had the choice of captive bred , or wild snake.
