As of last Friday ,there was 207 pupils and 12 members of staff off ill,at my lads comprehensive school.....and the schools closed tomorrow ... To be honest , I can't really see that the government would be daft enough to try it again . Paying people to stay at home didn't exactly work out great last time mate . Perfect breeding conditions for the flu. Especially with kids , they're proper snot magnets at the best of times. Mind you , schools close for no reason at all these days. It sort of works its way around the globe over a matter of months. By the time it's ended , next years has started , and it goes around again.
