The way I like them mate wee bit of hair to protect the feet aswell

f**k me don't get like MC. How the f**k can blades of hair protect the dog from running on hard ground. May protect from a little heat. But you get hard flint or Sharpe or lumps of stone. It's not protecting shit when running. Lol.

Feathering on the feet helps massively make covers nail beds in between toes and some even alot a pad

Helps on the stone flint and also like now 5 weeks a snow and rain the sandy land pushes them nail.beds back real.bad

I once put a post up on here called “are pures really pure” ; where I traced the ancestry of a deer/grey I owned all the way back.
On the deerhound side it had Anastasia Nobles greyhound outcross, and on the greyhound side it had Orfords Bulldog outcross and even further back it had “rough haired Scottish greyhound”.

So I guess pures arent REALLY pure if you go back far enough 👍

Cheers.

Go back far enough and we're cavemen. Few still on here charts 😇😜

Does it bollocks. The Saluki hair between the feet evolved due to soft sandy ground an protect from temperatures.. Nothing to do with ground over here.

If a Saluki over here hits some flint or hard stone. The feet are going to get f****d end of. No matter how much hair covers the foot. Lol

Maybe why its perfect for the wet sandy and stony flinty land land then mate evolution over 1000s a years we may aswell take.advantage of it lol

No some dogs can run it regular the real.stony depending on style if they have a brain some smooths can run it

That un a yours should be bomb proof

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
