Been the same up here mate the seed and stubble are dry as f**k but still some bits of land where it’s soft enough for a run I’m lucky I’ve got a variety around me. 
 

i always run shite tricky land upto November let the good land settle and hares pick up a bit, gives the dog a bit of challenge and build the fitness up
