When it comes to breeding lurchers I think the best way to breed them is breeding lurcher to lurcher and ino you have to start somewhere with your greyhound blood but if I had a good fox Killing lurcher im putting another fox killing lurcher over it not a greyhound someone's done the hard work for you same as purpose bred hare dogs why go backwards and go to pures when you can breed out of dogs that are doing exactly what you want I think the best way to go when breeding is using a dog to fix the weakness you see in the bitch and seeing it working running style don't go on looks looks don't kill but neither do percent of greyhounds people breed out of I wouldn't go past a well bred lurcher that's doing its job and tested to use a greyhound no way 3 Quote Link to post
