Soon as a dogs off lead anything can happen mate can't it serious note put plenty of sawdust in his bed and if your handy to beach just walk him in salt water for couple of week

Well any dry warm bedding but sawdust is good I think to trap the heat in a warm dog will heal quicker cuts and all and just walk him on soft sand in the salty water try not to move him much

f***ing salt water yeah. But I wouldn't be walking the dog on sand when the wounds are still raw. That will irritate the wound on the pads to f**k. Just use a dog bowl filled with salty water that's all that's needed. A did mine every time they run for shit up bed of the nails then hosed them down with Luke warm water. After that rub them down. Dog towel jacket thrown over happy days. But a would be taking them near no sand.
