Joe bugner

He was born in Hungary and then emigrated to Australia hence his nickname Aussie Joe he fought Ali twice if I remember at a time when all the greats where about not sure if he fought Henry Cooper, but an entertaining bloke RIP.

I looked it up Joe beat Henry over 15 rounds on a 1/4 points decision in 1971.

Brian Jacks used to teach me Judo when I was young with a bloke called Michael Macarthy he used to bring his Samurai Swords in and we used to hold up paper while he went all Kung Fu on us lol, He was a great bloke and when it came to dips nobody could match him I believe he made it into the Guinness book of records for his dips.

This was on the Isle of Dogs in the late 70s early 80s still remember it like it was yesterday he done a lot of good for the youth of our sports club, good to hear him mentioned again.
