Isn’t it just common sense ?

Soak the foot in warm soapy water to soften and loosen the dirt, then brush it away with a soft brush !

Were not talking about scrubbing with a stiff brush and pushing the dirt up under the cuticle !

Any decent dog man, or woman, can look at a dogs nails and spot infection and decide on the treatment, to mock anyone for using a brush is beyond stupidity.

Cheers.

Totally agree with you, it's just common sense,

Sometimes it's just tradition init

I’ve never found out why the Bedouins cut the ears of Salukis, I’ve asked and got different answers; some say their feet catch the ears when coursing hares , others say it to prevent injury when on jackals or foxes.

It's a bit weird as you would think the ears had evolved 2 keep sand out the lugs and the blood vessels of the ears help cool the blood dont they ,ill ask the Oracle

Strange thing to do isn’t it, I heard it was to stop there ears getting ripped on thorn bushes and the like, no reason really justifies it thow as it’s not really a problem to any other working dog

That’s interesting as I’ve seen the thorn bushes in the desert and they are savage !

I don’t know why they do it, spaniels have big ears and work brambles , etc, granted our thorn bushes arent like the desert ones , but we don’t crop spaniels ears !

Who knows ? I’ll be going out there again , I’ll try and get more information.

Cheers.
