That would be great but ones just bought a house near London and earns good money . Middle ones just left uni looking for a decent job. My lad 16 yrs old is trying to get into plumbing. I’d be bankrupt with that following me ffs , they can eat some expensive food the buggers

I think that’s a conundrum many of us face when thinking about moving and it’s one I have considered a bit for a while.

The conclusion I have come to is this, I’d encourage mine to think differently about work and I’ve already chatted to my oldest boy about it because he is thinking of some type of construction apprenticeship.

What I’ve said to mine is, you just commute or find a way to work online  !……see, in Britain you have to work every hour god sends to pay every other c**t.

So for an example, you say your lad wants to be a plumber ?……he could book jobs online, have a van and tools in a lock up somewhere and just fly over, graft solid for 2 weeks and then have two weeks off with enough money to live like a king in some of these other country’s.
There’s a lad up the road to me, he is a lagger, he gets a contract on price, flys over, knocks his pan in for however long it takes them flys home and waits for some other price job to come along.

Earn good money and live a life at the same time.

It’s just ideas so I’m not being smart, it’s just how I have figured it when thinking about it mate.

Few of my mates went travelling with the sound systems around Europe early 2000s  Anyway after travelling all over Europe a few settled in Bulgaria, they chipped in and bought a farm house with land for less than 15k ,it's got out buildings, woodlands and a river running along the bottom,it needed a lot of work and it's took a few years to do but now they have a house and land you would probably pay half a million maybe more here in UK,it's got mountains, lakes ,forests ,prime hunting ,fishing ground on the doorstep.

They love it out there, they have made a business having back packers and mountain bikers etc stay in the outbuildings they turned into self contained b&b

I'm going out to visit in November for 10 days ,who knows I may just make Bulgaria home , because England no longer feels like home .

I think he means have the boat lifted out the water and taken over on a truck ,I've known people that have taken narrow boats across the wash in hull and they say it's a scary journey ,I'm pretty sure some have done the channel but safer to do it by crane and truck

No he don’t mate he’s just an annoying old prick that talks shit my boat is completely sea worthy and I would happily take it across to France be more of an adventure getting across England than the channel
