I think that’s a conundrum many of us face when thinking about moving and it’s one I have considered a bit for a while.

The conclusion I have come to is this, I’d encourage mine to think differently about work and I’ve already chatted to my oldest boy about it because he is thinking of some type of construction apprenticeship.

What I’ve said to mine is, you just commute or find a way to work online  !……see, in Britain you have to work every hour god sends to pay every other c**t.

So for an example, you say your lad wants to be a plumber ?……he could book jobs online, have a van and tools in a lock up somewhere and just fly over, graft solid for 2 weeks and then have two weeks off with enough money to live like a king in some of these other country’s.
There’s a lad up the road to me, he is a lagger, he gets a contract on price, flys over, knocks his pan in for however long it takes them flys home and waits for some other price job to come along.

Earn good money and live a life at the same time.

It’s just ideas so I’m not being smart, it’s just how I have figured it when thinking about it mate.
