I’ve had loads, Lica, Swarovski, but all I will have now are vortex, just a general pair, I’d go for something like 8x42, I’m onto my third pair of vortex crossfire, they are really good, cheap and have a lifetime warranty, I’ve broken two pairs ( my own fault) and sent them to them and they sent me a new pair

The benchmark...Any bins that will focus in to 10 foot or less are pretty decent..like scopes, the test is the light gathering when dusk falls.minnox are decent.vortex 8x42 touch better..

Yeah I've read that's where they really excell, they are really, really bright, let a load of light in. I'm used to the cheap bins that you get as a naff present for Chrimbo, big zoom but about as clear as a misty bathroom. Lol

It’s ok it’s called care in the community seagul sees no one in real life has no friends and very little going for him so by coming on here he can pretend to be normal without hurting or upsetting any body including himself and he’s allowed to live in his fantasy world were he has a wife children an electric car and holidays in Florida while the Akita babysits the lurcher and watches over the staff laying the three miles of pressed concrete cobbles, it’s just a coping mechanism he was pulling clumps of hair out and chewing his shoulders badly before he found out how to change his ip address weekly it seems strange at first but stick with it it’s all done in the best possible taste

I went to view the Diamondbacks the other day and whilst I was there I checked the Hawke Endurance ED's, night and day better for me so I've ordered the Hawke's, they were brighter, sharper and less chromatic aberration, for just over 20 quid more it was a no-brainer.

Come on lad, it's a well known term in photography and anything optical. I'd have been happy with the Diamondbacks but it's only when you compare them to the Hawke's that you notice a difference, the Hawke are just better.

That's what it looks like at the extreme.

I have genuinely never heard a human being say the words “Chromatic Aberration”…..

I can imagine it now, some Yorkshire railway worker walks into the local hunting shop and says “What the chromatic aberration like on these binoculars ?”
f**k off, never happened and never will happen ! lol
