1st wolf/grey hound

just got my 1st sight dog she's 4 months old, wanting to train her for coyotes. any tips/ tricks to get her going on them. Ive owned hounds for coon. first time with sight dogs though.

What have you guys done to start them.

Bang several dogs out like they all do and she'll soon pick it up.

Outdoor Fever has a decent youtube channel on running coyotes,bringing on pups and introducing them to new quarry etc.

You might find that it's a struggle to find anyone here that does that sort of hunting mate.

Used be Canadian guy on here years back called rocks, he knew his stuff, was him that sent that stitch dog to Dan e, ain’t it illegal tho to use sight hounds to hunt in Canada?

Let her grow up first. You can ruin a sight hound on batting game if you to to start to young..

 No mate, I’ve killed pariah desert dogs with Salukis, but the desert dog is a worthless cur, only brave in a pack.

Dan Edwards who was on here and lives in Illinois is the man for coyote dogs.
