Still got nothing to do with not knowing the difference between a duty solicitor at a police station and a solicitor acting for you at trial being paid by Legal Aid. Chid told us about his experiences and you asked why’s that ? We explained The difference between a Duty Solicitor at a police station and a having a solicitor paid for by Legal Aid at a trial. Chid has said that’s exactly what happened…he refused an offer of a duty solicitor at the police station but had solicitors paid by Legal Aid at his trials ! You either can’t understand or don’t want to. Cheers. 2

Ffs I wouldn’t ask for a duty solicitor ( which means that they are on call and available that day … incase you are confused) … I’d ask for my solicitor… and if he was unavailable then he would have a stand in for that day ….. it’s different mate when you’re a grown up and your parents aren’t taking control of the situation…. gnasher16 31,310 Posted Friday at 17:50 Report Share Posted Friday at 17:50 Mchull just to really simplify things as im starting to feel sorry for you if you genuinely dont understand. Any and everybody is entitled to a duty solicitor.....but not everybody is entitled to legal aid. After you have been charged and bailed,or not as the case may be......it is up to you to seek out representation......for most people entitled to legal aid its a conversation with a law firm that go's something like this........ " Good morning ive been charged and bailed do you do legal aid " " Yes/no " And thats it ! 3
