It's a saluki mate ain't it really either way looks like one  runs like a real one should I'd take him as a match dog and to breed from from before some coursing studs if I'm honest

Just my observation of that short video; Sandman certainly runs like a saluki, a very good saluki ; but just judging by the pictures, I’ve never seen a pure saluki with a strong back like that., almost like a greyhounds !

As I say, just my personal observation, someone will tell me there’s loads of pures with backs like that, ok, but not in my limited experience.

Definitely a class dog, however it’s bred .

If it has coursing dog in it then it was a few generations ago you have to.remember not all salukis look the same alot of the desert stuff looks like our coursing breds
