Wasn’t my original plan to use that sire I was using my brothers dog but it died 2/3weeks before the bitch was about to break and I never had a plan b to be truthful. Had a few conversations with people and got in contact with the owner of the sire and organised the mating there’s a few pups of similar breeding already on the ground doing well atm and the sire runs the same type of land as me reedy fields ,rough moorland and seed so it just ticked a few box’s and took a chance with it and the man that owns the sire is genuine dog lad and always got a handy animal around him.

so far so good all owners are more than happy promising so far hopefully when the time comes they’ve got the minerals for what there bred for

Using a well bred animal thats being worked hard , brings the attributes your looking for to the table and has produced is a better bet than a random bred animal that can be seen running that is top notch . How many litters have been churned out that don't click . Imho you've done the right thing scotty12.  If you done your homework and that's the dog your gut told you to go to , good luck . For breeding lurchers is truly the hardest game . Luck definitely comes into it , it's minimising the luck part that's the dams owners duty . There's a romeo belle bitch has been put to same dog . Al let you know how they get on soon enough scotty12.  Awe the best wi the pups . Dont be listening to fannybaws lol

f****n lads that need a hand up don't talk like a c**t.

@Seagullis interested in owning a dog that is capable of catching hares , he’s not owned a lurcher for a while and I believe he was more of a lamper when younger . who the f**k will he know who has decent stuff about ?

lad got the chance of a well bred pup , decent pedigree , and took a shot at it . If you don’t help people out the game will be f****d
