I like a bit of bull in a running dog for the snap and the brain they have and it just tidies up a dog imho One of the best what I would call spree killers lol was our very own @WILFdog who could get taken out to a place with heavy foxes and be guaranteed to leather them back to back with minimum respite between. I believe he was heavily saluki blooded and was as handsome a dog as you could wish to kennel. conversely a dog that you would think would be a grinder of foxes might take one early in the evening and take a few bites and in a few hours be a little less reluctant to engage with the next one once the nips have started to rub and it pumped up blood has calmed down. Seen it numerous times and that’s a fault , it’s one I could live with . as said though , I’m not a foxing man per se . Just my opinion I'm the same I don't fox now but I keep eye out nice un open land I can't help my self but he's a big strong dominant dog I'll grass 3 and alot more when gunter comes One run his be flaked out needing a drip if it doesn't just stop go back to him like them other Irish dogs did lol I've heard wilf mention his dogs can't remember seeing them Quote Link to post

I was at the Roman Wall show a few weeks ago and met up with a few of lads from the Flimby Club. There was three lads you probably know who had a pick up full of hairy foxing dogs from Whitehaven, rough looking bunch…..the dogs AND the lads ! LOL ! Cheers. Quote Link to post
