saluki types are not what I want for what I do.

Absolutely nothing against them  I’ve had pures and crosses, but I need something that can take a hare or roe in double quick time and move on, saluki types aren’t what I’d be after, just something that can keep my freezer full.

And mC , please don’t tell me yours can do all that, maybe they can, but I’d be awfully disappointed if I bred something that was no good to me.

Any how, I’ve never bred a litter in my life and I probably won’t start now, but a friend down Yorkshire has asked to take her and breed from her and raise the pups, so who knows what the future holds ?

I hope he does everything thing you say, but do you think all coursing breds are as good as him ?

Ive seen more that couldn’t catch a rabbit in a phone box than ones that made the grade , so why should I take the chance on breeding dogs that takes 10minutes to wear out a hare ?

Im virtually guaranteed to get something near what I want by the breeding I’m thinking of.

Hes the best I had his brothers on par me old bitch lady I put up was quality on them aswell 

Me red bitch will try and try but gets threw off even big roe she's  just not very good on deer 

I agree your spot on more chance getting the type you want from how you said but the  other way you may get test once in a life time dog

As for a roe dog nothing I've seen is close mate I can lamp it slip turn light out and watch on the thermal he is that  use to grassing them

I've a bit  on  this season or I'd show you 2 grassed every night of the season easily it's sorting them and daytime I've won't manage it 

How about 2 3 times a week  I'll camcorder it September to Feb see how many I miss ?

Lots lurchers catch roe an even fox like that mate, saw it countless times, fcuk j used to go out on full moons with no lamp, jist a head torch, dog would still catch roe ffs haha

Who cares ? Perhaps you have got the best dogs in the world, but by constantly telling everyone, it just seems like you’re trying to convince yourself !
