“Very little “ is not the same  as “no”

They must have had greyhound in them unless they used a different base breed, or they would just be Salukis .

Cheers.

I'd say they just about are ?

He could shift mate . I was very naive with him when he was younger and would flash him round here there and everywhere whenever I went out with the boys regardless of what we were doing and looking back I was lucky he wasn’t chored as he had a weird habit of performing best in front of strangers lol

He broke his wind in and around thirsk on a few days out with a very well known match dog and when he matured he was an absolute monster of a dog. I could lamp him relatively well, he would go into most things but batting around off the back of the van daylight , I’ve not seen much better . Part of the reason I jacked in was that I was keeping dogs that couldn’t lace his boots and I struggled to find anything with his similar strengths .

@mC HULL guess who his sire was ?

How can that be ?
Take the Splodge x Fettle mating for an example , they both have greyhound and saluki, and possibly beddy in Fettle, so you are still getting the greyhound blood.
You can’t tell me every mating for years has only been back to a pure saluki ? We all know there’s been greyhound added and saluki/ greyhound hybrids.

Granted the blood of the modern coursing bred will be heavily saluki, but your trying to write the greyhound out of the type, which is nonsense, simply because of your saluki breed blindness .

What about the grews that went in now and again , or the old lurcher bred types that had all sorts; collie, deerhound, etc.

Cheers.
