Well that was a bit of an anti climax......thought id use the powder first and then spray.....steamed down there all charged up about 9.30 ready for a battle, rammed the nozzle of the spray into the hole and kept squeezing for 30 seconds.....took it out and started running....looked back and nothing, about 3 wasps flew out !......thinking they'd bottled it i went back straight away with the spray, sprayed right inside the hole and f**k me loads flew out .....legged it up into the house....went back a few hours later and just a few of them pottering about by the hole......i'll do the same again over the weekend but if thats it then what a disappointment i wanted a couple of stings to at least know ive been in a fight....wimps !

I love finding a wasps nest at home . I stand close to the nest with a can of raid knockdown spray , and drop them as they flight backwards and forwards . It's like a more exciting version of shooting driven pheasant.

My mate has fantastic strategy when dealing with wasps . When the wasp gets to within 10 feet , he runs around waving his arms , and squeals like a girl.

It must work , he's never had a wasp sting 😁.

Two active nests right next to each other. And a little dead one

Did you charge them for the little dead one...lol

For some of you that might be interested those little ones are what the Queens hibernate in after they have  mated with the drones in autumn...
