I just don't see the point in it tbh if you have a pack of hounds last thing I want them doing is hunting anything bar a fox or out in depths of summer chasing a laid scent rather get the bike out bring them round the road honestly it's like how I say lurcher racing most of them wouldn't of been out in the field or caught a rabbit there's no sport in it to me chasing a bag or chasing scent up the field does nothing for men that keep working dogs and the people at them do you think there any different from Joe public and care if you could hunt or not because they don't there happy chasing a bag or a fake scent up the field

As I said, they are not the same hounds, and almost all of the owners are involved with their local hunt. It's just a fun summer sport to get them out on the fells. 👍

My bitch , pointer collie grey , she’s been a good animal for me , turning 8 in august she’s done quiet abit on her own aswell which I like to know mine can do it , had her at some serious distances ,

A bitch in its own environment; Cheers.

I only go to Hunt Shows these days to support my local hunts, and let’s not forget the money from lurcher and terrier and hound showing and racing goes towards the survival of the Hunts.

Cheers.

It's like these whippets trying to be proper hare coursers, just playing at it.

My old pal had a good whippet years ago that could pagger hares on tricky land local , best i sin it so was 3/3 and it cramped up the poor sod

I've done 3/3 with my collie/greyhound, but, it wasn't in the hull slop and I was out mooching October/November time.

What was the coursing comp that a black & white bitch, collie cross, either won or got to the final, I seen it on tape, the comp must have been late 80's or early 90's, it had me hooked.

Don't think it was mate but I'm not sure. Don't quote me but I'm sure the bitch ran against this big red dog in the final and the commentary mentioned that she was struggling in the slop compared to the powerful dog, she was mopping up in the earlier rounds.

I’ve seen the videos mate ! LOL !

Ive told you, my only caveat is I don’t do any digging !

Ive had one terrier in almost 60 years of working dogs, and I was quickly convinced that wasn’t for me !
Ive been out with many good men, and the first thing I say is; “ if I’m doing something I shouldn’t be, tell me. ; if I’m not doing something I should be be , tell me ! “
I’ve never been out with anyone who complained about me afterwards, and I’ve been invited back many times.

And that’s , literally, all over the world !

Im really looking forward to seeing you all, but remember , I’m an old man ! LOL !

Cheers.
