Little Google and have syringe fed it some weetabix with water as a last resort for the moment , have some blackcurrants and raspberries to mash with some boiled hemp and Niger seeds as well for its next feed … do i ring a wildlife sanctuary or keep doing what I’m doing ? Left it out for the parents to see but nothing yet , will put it in a big ply vented box in the shed for the night . Or am I needing pigeon milk , didn’t even know they had breasts Are you sure it's a Wood Pigeon? Looks like one of the new species that I thought I had discovered a few month ago.

Like yourself I am a man of plebian tastes,an uncultured palate, though looking at the bird I am reminded of a squab dish in Paris pigeonneau en habit vert, ses cusses farcies etc champignones sauvage, bon appetite.
Franks dad 1,769
Made the mk II version today , then someone asked me if it would feed off the floor … nope , been putting food down , …. Hmmm what about if decoy bird is bobbing over food , like a Jedi , it would teach the padawan the way … and so it was … put bobbing pigeon in over seed and the syringe fed food . And a hour later the little buggers chucking it down his neck, had to put more down …. won’t be long before he’s flying , put higher perch in and he’s getting up to it ….
