Chilli sauce mate?

I've set two live catch traps in the back garden this evening, caught one within half an hour, won't be surprised if there's another one in the morning, you've got to keep on top of them, remember Bill Oddie balling his eyes out when he finally had to let pest control in his garden lol

The bellends that live nextdoor to me are oblivious to rodents. Moved into open countryside, without a scooby about how it works. Trampy cnuts, they feed the birds fat balls, and dispite my protests about rats coming into my garden, they don't mind them, as 'they are all part of the countryside'. Every year they are plagued with mice in the house, and told us a 'funny' story of how the mice keep them up at night, rustling in the empty crisp packets on the bedroom floor..!

So I live with permanent Fenn traps in the garden, and mouse traps in the house. Though to be honest, dispite next-door, I'd have them set anyway.

You simply find a bait that the arm spike (at the bottom) can go right through until it touches the base. Then raise the bar, and lock it in to the clip at the top. If the arm spike is not fully through the bait, it won't lock.

Once locked, the rat will raise the arm trying to remove the bait, and bingo..!

Liquorice Allsorts are good bait, I've used apple, dates, cooked chicken etc. Usually, smear a bit of peanut butter/chocolate spread & coconut oil around it too, just to make sure...
