Cracking dogs I've a beddy whippet grey bitch with a litter of pups down now to a collie whippet grey bred to keep a couple back for ferreting /lamping and bushing

Do you have that litter just now? Any picture of them?

I’ve had 3 beddy x whippets fantastic little dogs very biddable & easy to train. Great company dogs & all 3 caught stuff I never thought they should’ve been able to catch. Last two were sisters 5/8 b 3/8w one was very light framed looked like 3/4w other was solid lump looked like 1/4 w. No pics sorry as no idea how to post them. Atb

I've seen beddy/whippets do some unbelievable stuff. They can be very good dogs sometimes a little pig headed. Not the sort of dog I would recommend folk having for a first time lurcher.

I wouldn't refuse a well bred one purely on the experiences I've had with them

Three quarter whippet (Mike Brown & Oakbark stuff) quarter beddy. Cracking little dog, brilliant nose, great prey drive, very robust and up for anything. As a younger dog he was difficult to control when he was 'hot' but has calmed down as he's gotten older. Would have another in a heartbeat!

Always loved the look of the beddy whippets but the risk of a pup turning out tiny put me off with our fast ground and jet propelled bunnies.

My first cross lacks a little bit of top end speed… still catches plenty, but could definitely catch more if was that bit faster.

Not really, most bigger dogs if they are bred right are fast enough.. obviously not as fast as a greyhound, but that’s too fast. I think her lack of top end speed is down to her little legs 😂
