If we didnt have the protective magnetic field around earth then we would be doomed,we couldnt survive,there be no atmospheres etc im struggling to beleive that spacecraft can survive out this field when earth literally couldnt exist without its protection

If you mean Van Allen’s Belt when you say the earths magnetic field , yes space craft and astronauts can safely pass through it.

VAB isn’t uniform around earth , some parts are much weaker and less dangerous, and spacecraft traverse these parts.

You allways seem to be searching for why things CAN’T be done, I’m the opposite, I look for how things CAN be done

Francie, the easiest way to describe the Van Allen Belt is to see the earth as a bar magnet with a north and South Pole, this diagram shows the magnetic field around a bar magnet, much the same as the Van Allen Belt around earth;
