Pardus 1,020
What was the name of the video he made about his cattle cross lurcher, from what I recall he had a real calm nature around a dog. Quote Link to post
chartpolski 26,160
Very sad news, a true gentleman and dare I say it, an icon of our sport. Our paths crossed infrequently in this country and I’m sure we tred some of the same paths in our sojourns to the Middle East. My condolences to his family and friends….. Charts. 3 Quote Link to post

I think he had it up on the Dales but also filmed some clips down south, more local to where he lived. Quote Link to post

Popular Post Mr Wasp 218
It has been a privilege to be Phil's friend, work colleague, and occasional hunting partner/photographer. We worked on "stuff" outside of the pest control/lurcher world together and had a good laugh along the way. I have lost a good friend. Rose has lost her best friend and husband. Till the next life mate... 30 1 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,616
Devastated to hear of the passing of Phil, spoke to him over the phone many times over the year's. He gave me advice when I asked for it & was an inspiration to me when I was just a young lad. A very knowledgeable man & more importantly a humble & honest fella too. I can recall his Lurcher Journal's some 40 plus year's ago now long before his recent publications, they were inspiring to say the least..Deepest condolences to his nearest & dearest.. sleep easy Phil From a fellow moucher.. 12 Quote Link to post
