Ahh the mythical saluki grey hsha iv had dogs with coursing blood in an my lamping/ferreting/partner an family members an good pals have all had coursing dogs, you’d think there’s only a few in country the way you go on haha they no diff to most other lurchers ffs haha you tell yourself what ever you wanna tell yourself to justify keeping the dog on lead haha

Dogs I hunted with very regular with over the years belong to family or good pals, all self entered at a few month old usually ferreting, all worked with ferrets, lamped an courses during the day on hares and roe, and all still done bits an bats at your dogs age an older bangers haha 

 

also had a first cross salukingrey here a load, an umpteen saluki/whippets over the years, the saluki grey tour trying to talk about ain’t no Fcuking unicorn haha

There's a difference having abit of the mix in the blood to a full on Saluki grey. The dogs were bred for coursing hares nothing else. Before that it was just your box standing lurchers stag hound xs , greys / whippets , But nothing comes close to the Saluki mix for stamina. f**k knows why guys who do the spot of lamping rabbits or day time rabbiting. f**k knows why you'd want Saluki mixed in to a dog that's there for ferreting. A nice beddy x beddy whippet or x beddy grey would be my ideal ferrting dog.

You mental case haha iv saw full coursing dogs do as good as job ferreting as any collie cross haha haha you really need to get out more, the reason most rabbiters don’t want it cos the attitude, nowt to do with there ability, but if your one them guys who gets on with them they can do any job a lurcher can, except seriously heavy graft ffs haha get back out there, meet some folk, watch some dogs an you’ll be surprised haha haha

Alot more than you kennel groom. Get them hounds in tip top condition to find them Jasper's for the real terrier men over pond. Maybe they'll let you have your photo taken.

It's a f***ing sighthound it's guna catch you a few hares or rabbits. Don't aim your expectations too hight just enjoy the dog. You'll get the odd one that wants the world beaters. There the ones who's dogs will be f****d before they know it. Wanting to much out of the dog. This lads way past it now . We've just knocked 6 mile up steady trip on canal path , there and back from home towards Thornhill edge. We're out of the game. Ready for knacker man to come.
