Yeah I had her booked in for 9 this morning vet said to keep her hydrated and will be ok but she was downhill too fast she had 2 shits like it but only near end. Honestly there's not much warning now I know what it is and what to look for others will be at vets straight away even if they just seek off a bit. My young lads just got home from school little man's heartbroken Quote Link to post

For such stuff mine are insured. I wouldn't take em for anything hunting related, but for general illness, I use that. My old dog I got from Joe Ox has a tumor in it's colon, that was all done on insurance. Saved us a pretty penny. If a dog damaged itself hunting, I'll treat it, and if I can't it's time to say goodbye... Quote Link to post

If they were ripped, i can stitch or staple myself mate. Broken legs would be a different matter. I wouldn't be taking a dog to my vets, all anti's in there, wouldn't have any knowing my business. Way back when, I'd have to book the dog in to see two friends of mine, Mr Spear & Mr Jackson... Quote Link to post
