It's horses for courses some excel on certain quarry and ground others don't some run those hills and mountains and bogs regular certain crosses can't do it the  same  but excel in other places as with anything just enjoy yourself but the best dogs I have seen over the years the owner is quiet and often plays down just how good there dog is and often there a pleasure to watch and worth the travel to see them run

mate honest lamping brown  hares 20 plus is easy but there not at there best on the lamp then take into account your chasing mountain hare that lads use for pups aint really tickling me fancy getting over

I’ve only had one dog that couldn’t or wouldn’t take muntjac she only had eyes for catching rabbits she’d run stuff but no heart this bitch didn’t last long with me unfortunately as times had changed I could no longer keep different dogs for different jobs it stemmed down to one dog needs to do all jobs required of a hunting dog 

Kind of embarrassing really to think about it as this bitch was a home bred bitch bred from decent gear then I had a beddy whippet bred from nothing just as a rabbit ferret dog only 17tts that showed more heart on shit that was bigger and powerful than her

Mchull no harm but it's about getting out and having a hunt and seeing around you than killing 100 deer 20 hares get a grip of yourself I think you beleave half the shit you talk but I don't instead of banging on about what your dogs can do get over go lamping with the man see what happens sure anyone can go out and have a shit day but listen go out one day at cover I'd say you'll have a fox hare deer run to you and see what your dogs got in it plenty to walk for hares the next day to plenty of stuff about here
