These fuckers aren't daft that have come over here from Asian country's. Sending the money back home. Not many of them pay tax due to corrupt businesses. Even the curry houses , taxis , barbers , mini markets. Most claim the befits too. An many brits still spend their money in these shops. Lol

My family live a few miles out of Dundalk in Blackrock, we spent a lot of time there when my Gradfather was alive and 90% of the time it was nothing but friendly and massively welcoming, it helped tha

With all videos interacting with general public on YouTube I'd have a healthy scepticism.  That gym in your bid was clearly a bit of a conman . But I'd like to see how many people the approached before they got that video .

There are 1,500,000,000 Indians. There are bound to be one or two that’ll try and over- charge a naive tourist, but surely you can’t tar them all with the same brush.

In next weeks instalment of “Bangers Abroad….a tourist guide” he explores Ireland and gives them a good ticking off for hating us when all we ever did was buy their Guinness and put them on a bit of a strict diet ! lol

I worked with a lot of nationalities in the Middle East, including Indians, and to be honest, never found any nationality that hated the British.
Yes, there were some who disliked us, but most seemed to like us.

Most from the Sub-Continent, especially the more educated, were very pro British.

Ive got on very well, and have good friends from countries that are supposed to hate us, including the likes of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Australia ! LOL !

Cheers.

The Asian countries I've been have been extremely friendly, and very welcoming... recent trip to Japan was a head turner to how a country should act, extremely clean, even with the language barrier we were offered help a couple of times when it was obvious we were struggling with train tickets etc... brother was in India last year, said it was pretty dirty but the people were very friendly, Found Thailand the same...and really enjoyed Hong Kong when I was out there working for a couple of weeks...

Western cities, found Rome and Paris pretty unfriendly and un welcoming... London, I love going to London but it's hardly the most welcoming place...

Nah bangers, I got you wrong mate, I don't think you've travelled much and are forming an opinion off Internet shite

I loved Paris, as a tourist it was friendly to me….but when I was working there there were a couple of instances when they were “rude”……but in a way I understood and quiet liked.

One situation in a cafe when I was trying to order something to eat and asked if they spoke English….the bloke very firmly said “No !……French !……..France !!”
I get that totally because that’s something most English people would do.

Same here as you know mate, being a guest in another man’s nation means it pays you to learn a bit of history and not be a gobshite……if you know a bit of history then you won’t be surprised when odd situations occur.

Thats not to say you can’t have the banter with people, you can, but you have to be contextually aware whenever you are in another man’s land in my humble opinion.

Agree completely, we've been Paris a few times, architecture, food, culture etc outstanding.. but it's a big city with a big city mentality and the French (imo) aren't the most friendly anyway, they are a bit aloof and aren't the most forthcoming... I've no problem with that either, as a foreigner in their country I'll act in the right manner anyway...but..  I have found in Asain countries quite the opposite, with Tokyo being the absolute stand out as a huge city but has retained its culture, values etc but is very welcoming... infact outwardly respectful not only to us as foreigners but to each other... its crazy to chuck around statement that Asians are unfriendly and hate the English, it's just not true... there will be places where you will find hostility, and not be well received, this can be in any UK city let alone foreign places... the worst hostility I found was in Dundalk, Ireland, we were in the wrong place at the wrong time and it went a bit wrong... my family explained the situation and as a 19 year old lad I thought I was invincible.. wrong...lol

Funny how peoples experiences are different, now having an English accent in Dundalk I can understand how it could go boss eyed quite easily….especially when you are still a young man full of fire.

I first traveled to Belfast in around 94 when me and my wife were first going out as that’s where she is from…..well, she is from Bangor to be exact, so being a man with my sort of opinions was fine in that particular area ! lol ……but that aside, there and in Belfast I always felt way more at ease than I ever did in London.

Her granny told me to be careful but to be honest I found people to be sound……although I did once drive down the Falls by mistake with a St George’s flag dangling in my windscreen and did a U turn when I noticed all the Celtic shirts and funny looks ! lol

No matter where you visit, and I’m not well travelled, but treat people how you want to be treated, give respect and expect it in return.
