jukel123 9,085
I've had a few over the years. Brilliant wee, uncomplicated dogs. Two littluns together can take what the average lurcher takes no bother. Edited February 16 by jukel123 2 Quote Link to post

Alot more heavily set that a kc whippet too. You look at the body structure of a working whippet to a Kc show whippet. More frame on them. Nice flat back not bent up totally diffrent. Nice big head on them some shape. You can tell straight away. Quote Link to post

Working whippets were sound. I worked two bitches together. Tough wee guys. And nobody knew you were out hunting. No suspicion whatsoever. Worked them together for over ten years. No significant injuries or vet bills. One of them lived till a ripe age. She was the best jumper I ever had. She never, ever put a foot wrong. I wouldn't get wound up over the working whippet description. 99% of whippets work if entered when young and encouraged. Edited February 16 by jukel123 3 Quote Link to post
WataWalloper 2,632
I could be easily tempted for a nice whipper snapper if the right litter turned up, been a few years since I last had one 3 Quote Link to post
