Winning is everything Wilf. Supporters and players go home happy if they've got those precious 3 points.

I don't share your puritanism. I respect it, but nah, winning ugly is still winning.

Here's a scenario. You are walking along at night with your teenage son. Some bloke attacks you. What would you do? Box by Marquess of Queensberrry rules or fight with your feet, nut or anything that came to hand?

If you fought by the rules and were left in a sorry, humiliated heap, would you say " at least I didn't fight dirty son" or would you rather you kicked f**k out of him and said to your son " when the going gets tough etc, etc?

It wasnt......but when you've sold our soul with the trade off being winning trophies you bet your bollocks winning is everything Moyse football Allardyce football Pulis football who f****n cares just give us what we was promised....you ruined a big part of our lives at least make sure the sacrifice puts a smile on our faces !

Local media got a fairly decent picture of the boy the other night, worth a share I thought

My nine year old grandson has just been accepted for a football academy in Saudi Arabia. His first competitive game his team won and he scored the winning goal and was “man of the match”; H

But all that said, I think all clues point to the top…..until that midget is out the way and proper football people in charge, or at least people who are prepared to get proper people in and let them do their job, then it can’t be right ?

Theres something we agree on regards West Ham........until that man either dies or we get relegated there will be no change at this club.......im actually at the stage where i want relegation, although he's an absolute mongrel looking gonk spastic c**t he looked reasonably healthy last time i saw him...... we cant just wait for him to die !

The whole "our little Hammers " description was never about the size of our achievements or the big named players we developed or winning the World Cup or any of that stuff......it was always about our culture, our traditions and togetherness.....our little Upton Park and the surrounding area was part of that tradition as was the ideals of how we felt the game should be played ( the West Ham way ) if you like.....we had a small dedicated very loyal following where you would see the same faces week to week and up and down the country.....we had a connection with not just each other but the players and managers down the years where us fans always felt it was " our club " and we was all in it together.

That was all destroyed when we moved grounds because we then suddenly became a " big club "......yet now all the people who wanted to be a " big club " now want what we already had but turned our backs on !.....im not digging at Wilf as we've done it to death but the harsh reality is those minority of West Ham fans who wanted the move and wanted to be a big club have got exactly what they wanted and its split our club, pretty much destroying for all but the younger generation who hold no value of what we had....you talk to them about Bobby Moore and Bonzo and they ask " who are they ? "......i wasnt even alive when people like Malcolm Allison and Noel Cantwell captained the club....players like Ronnie Boyce and Ken Brown, even Bobby Moore to an extent, but i learned who they were by asking the older generation and wanting to know everything about the club.....nowadays all youngsters want to know is the words to the songs and whats the best food stall around the ground..........and in my opinion thats the kind of shit you get from being a big club, something 95% of my generation didnt want to be.......a little bit like the whole Nationalist thing,we saw it coming,we warned you what it would be like....but you took no notice and just called us names......now you're crying it didnt turn out very well......f**k the lot of you's you got what you deserved..........rant over

Totally get your view about moving, not arguing any of that because we have done that.

My question is, and I’m genuinely interested, do you think the move has a lot to do with the state we are in ?

If so, what’s your reckoning mate ?

I have respect for both you and wolves as clubs and fans  in fact the best striker I saw in the lower leagues was steve bull a unbelievable talent it's sad you are both are in this position I know a few say about moyses in my opinion he was a steadily influence but you should of upgraded because he would never have  played the youth you may have had coming through I think you will struggle next season if you go down Bowen etc leaving

We're a mid table Championship side at best mate and im talking about NOW !......Bowen isnt performing and you cant blame him he has nothing around him,Paqueta performs once in a blue moon,Soucek is finished but a smashing lad so he gets a cheer 🙄 , the 2 kids will be decent players but cant be expected to fight a relegation battle with their limited experience...but we are an utter shambles of players at different stages of their careers with different ambitions for their futures bought for the wrong reasons, under the influence of a manager who looks as disinterested as everyone else.

It’s brutal, flicked theough MOTD in the early hours this morning, the highlight was Villa’s two moves passing through the 3rds in a counter but once it reaches the forward it pours cold water on it all as the people passing themselves off as forwards are just so unconvincing.
Brentford put on their normal good counter show, but these are odd games in a sea of boring chess.
Every team looking for a tap in, nobody wants to get a shot away and even when they do they are lashing it wide from 8 yds out or not hitting it clean enough to generate any power.

It’s a hard watch when you have just watched Nedved make Dida have to pull off and absolute world class save from 25 yds ! lol

Im starting to wish we'd all let them crack on with that Super League caper they was pushing for a few years ago.......let all the top clubs piss off to their new fancy Super League so they can have their closed sanitised corporate game with their Var, political point scorers and happy clapper fans................and we can all get back to having the old game we love back.

I read Hammers' fans voted him their  greatest ever player.

That's a head scratcher for an outsider like me. I understand he was a local lad, tough as old boots and ultra committed. That's counts a lot, without doubt.

But Bobby Moore, Declan Rice, Frank Lampard, Di Canio and others  were surely better players ? Jmho.

By " greatest " i think a lof of fans would probably mean favourite......Billy Bonds was a cracking player and a leader of men as his near 800 appearances, club captain and club manager suggest.....but yes we've had better players over the years.......but for chaps of my generation very few would pick anyone other than Bonzo as our favourite player and the main reason for that is because he was one of us......he was everything that was good about West Ham and made us all proud.

We thank him for everything he did for us and may he Rest in Peace.

I do mate yes......you've run companies Wilf you know how it works it all comes from the top down.......the most hated and despised person owns the business we are all supposed to be behind........he's always been a c**t who nobody liked but being hated and despised takes it to a level that has to cause ripples.......just as an aside,do you know that Jarrod Bowen our club captain has never once had a conversation with the man who owns the football club, like never......this i know for a fact....again you,ve run businesses ??

Im not entirely sure you understand the scale of damage that move has done to this club and im not just talking about nostalgia, memories and all that old bollocks im talking about the promises he opened himself up to,the fans it has put an end to,the feeling of anger that is in that ground every week even now 10 years on.......and of course thats not to mention the ground itself which is just a joke.....it would take too long to list every grievance we have about the move but it would be naive to believe it isnt all catching up with us now the excitement of European Moyseball has died down and relegation battles are back howling at the door again.

As a football club we just have no identity anymore and it was the move that did that.......again,no company can produce a great product with that amount of damage and scar tissue from top to bottom its just unrealistic to expect.....professional pride should come into it with players but look at our recruitment and why we recruited them and it becomes obvious that even that is missing.

This bowl of a stadium will not be our permanent home and this pig c**t of an owner will not be around much longer......but whenever it starts its going to be a long haul back for future generations of fans who will have to create a new club identity because the one we knew and loved is gone, and again to think all of that anger and unhappiness is not going to filter through every area of your company to where performance suffers,is just naive in my opinion.

Sorry for long post sometimes my passion gets the better of me and i just cant f****n stop

Shame a bit of it cant be passed onto the useless pricks wearing our football shirts !

Wilf and Gnasher who would ye think be right kind of manager for West Ham doesn't look like its a good fit with Nuno.

Short term probably Slaven Bilic as he's available.......long term Lampard would be my choice if somebody could persuade him.

We cant really have sentiment creep into it with ex players but even Gary O'Neil or Carrick would do me as i do think we need to reconnect fans with the club and players at this point.

Yesterdays result was written in the stars mate, I don’t see how anyone could have figured it would go any other way…..to be fair, Wolves were unlucky not to score 4 !

As for going down, it would be the healthiest thing for us…..what is it ?, 46 games they play in the championship?

46 games of good, honest, physical football won’t do us any harm.

Im guessing quiet of few of the players will be on relegation clauses so it’s a chance for a clear out and start again……however, the problem of the owner remains !
That’s a conundrum that needs fixing before you can build again.

Whoever is doing the recruitment needs seriously looked at but my guess is Sullivan is meddling in everything because surely no proper football people are just randomly buying these players ? …….its f***ing mental !
Nobody is telling me that area isn’t producing players, people who understand the area and the people and the club……the standard of football round there from top to bottom, from Premier league to Sunday league is so good there must be players who can be developed all over the show ?
And we are buying random foreigners nobody has ever heard of and just throwing them together on a pitch ?…….we don’t look like a proper team, we look like a bunch of random blokes who turned up for trials ?

As far as infrastructure, we don’t have any excuses as far as ground, love it or hate it, it’s modern and state of the art.

Training ground is a joke !……I think it was better when it was Fords and I used to play there ! lol

Tents and portacabins, it’s f***ing ridiculous !
I’ve never subscribed to the Moyes “play any shit to stay up” way of thinking, I think one look at Sunderland playing brave football full of heart proves you don’t have to do that…….ive never believed and never will believe a team has to play possum and just try and stay alive.

I know everyone views football different but I’ve always believed in go and attack a game rather that try not to loose……so all this talk of Moyes is for the birds in my book.

But all that said, I think all clues point to the top…..until that midget is out the way and proper football people in charge, or at least people who are prepared to get proper people in and let them do their job, then it can’t be right ?

I don’t know the story of Birmingham city but didn’t he oversee a similar turnout there ?

Yes I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be more home grown players coming through from that area I know there's a few on the fringes there's been a few clubs that switched things round Birmingham are there slowly turning it round Coventry are another buying some good young players but from top to bottom they got the correct people in the correct positions and it's showing like wrexham they have done the same back to back promotions and dark horses for the playoffs they have won their last 5 games after a bad start there owners some Hollywood stars were doing documentaries and loads of media stuff to raise the clubs profile and gain more investment they said was needed for just the rebuild behind the scenes and it's paying of like Sunderland did I never expected there start but they brought a lot of youngster since the take over but getting that ex arsenal lad in for experience is probably one of there best signing to date
