Like most my age it's a shiny bald head and the obligatory grey goatee ,,Richie and I call it " the distinguished elderly gent with a military bearing look "

The obligatory grey goatee is not obligatory. I will NOT be another old clone geezer compensating for lack of head hair by growing a full beard or goatee.

I will be a bald headed, beard free, old twat. I am a rebel.

Viva old geezers with head and chin as bald as a baby's bum.

Local media got a fairly decent picture of the boy the other night, worth a share I thought

.

I have a Mini Cooper. People have said to me that it is woman's car... not bothered, class things to drive. People have said that it is a puff's car... not bothered, class things to drive. On the news

The more I see, the more I’m feeling I just have to hold my hands up and say Gnasher was right and I was totally wrong about all this moving grounds caper.

Yes in the hands of proper people it should have been a massive benchmark to kick in from, but it actually is turning out that as a club we have a Bentley body with a Nissan micro engine !

The training facility’s are a joke, like an actual joke.

Sullivan is just making it all up as he go’s along and it shows….as in it’s obvious !

Its a circus and the clowns are in charge !

Nuno is a decent coach, but let’s not pretend that any planning or vision or thought went into appointing him…..it’s a conversation down the pub appointment, “Here Dave that Nuno looks good based on the two games I watched on MOTD”

”Yeah, ok, we will have him….genius…..we will be playing good football and knocking in a few goals within a week !”

Like it’s so f***ing pub team it’s just not true.
You have to laugh or you’d f***ing cry ! lol

I haven't spoken to or heard of a older genation supporter on any forum supporting a move of grounds from Sunderland to Cardiff the history of the club just isn't there in theses new grounds and in touch with the local community like it once was

They've been in the new ground for years. Since 2016?

The big mistake was sacking  Moyes. He bought well .He consistently achieved Europa league qualification, their highest ever points tally in the premiership and the Hammers first European trophy in 43 years.

He finished higher in the premiership than both Man U and West Ham last year, two clubs he was  let go from, despite Everton being in serious danger of relegation when he took over.

Most supporters want to leave their ground having seen their team win. If  some purists think they win ugly who cares? Moyes is a great manager, West Ham let him go and bought rubbish players.  That's the explanation. The directors should not have fixed what wasn't  broken.

Man U supporters would welcome a safe pair of hands like Moyes, if only to save us from the sight of a Amorim having a public breakdown. He hides when penalties are being taken, paces like a caged polar bear and has long periods sitting on his haunches staring at the ground. He needs to be put out of his misery and so do we  supporters.

He's a one trick pony with only one formation. My way or the highway. That may have been sufficent in Portugal, but the premiership is a much more sophisticated animal. The highway beckons.

He's only still in the job because the backroom staff who appointed him don't  want to admit his appointment reveals their lack of judgement and incompetence.

They need to bite the bullet and pay whatever it takes to prise Oliver Glasner from Crystal Palace.

People are quick to forget we were f***ing awful under Moyes as well…..his horrible soulless, gutless brand of grind football he can shove up his arse the dour jock c**t ! lol

Nah mate, this is a higher problem than managers.

I’m not crying about it, I’ve been following my little club long enough to expect nothing.

Is any premier league football about the community mate ?…..I don’t think it’s been that for a long time.

Now that is a fair shout wilf now you mentioned its the same with the championship to a lesser degree we play in the worlds oldest football stadium and I'm glad we have no intention of moving because our crowds doesn't warrant it and all my memories of great nights or days are there but the club isn't as attached to the local community as it could be  but that's just one reason why non league attendances are rising and will continue to because they are and need to be more community focused which feels to lads like us far more how it used to be than today

I think one look at the advert on Sky (the “I just can’t enough” one) tells us all we need to know about top fight football and what they want it to be…….it put me right off I have to say.

I don’t have sky sports but I do spend a tenner a month on “Bunch of Amateurs” because to me, it’s the best football thing on the telly !

Supporters seem to think that they matter in football these days still . The clubs dont need massive crowds anymore , if anything , it’s a nause with the expense and cost of running a stadium and match days . Covid proved this .

I can see football in our lifetime downsizing to 5 -10 k stadiums ala ice hockey stadia / crowd size wit tickets becoming prestige and tv viewing access granted via closed cable subscription to supporters

the average lad who meets his pals down the kings head for a few jars before walking to the game and getting in at ten to 3 before being back in the boozer at 5 to see final score isn’t needed any more .

his sole input , the 1300 bar season ticket , and maybe a new scarf every three years for 25 quid adds f**k all , a Japanese family of four over to see a game with their hitachi camera and 4 kits in the club shop dwarves that . That’s where we’re going and the premier league are pushing that with all their might

When Zlatan signed for PSG I’m not kidding when I say they could not stack shirts on the shelf fast enough in the PSG shop in Paris they were selling that fast…..I can almost guarantee 90% of those people had never been to a game !

€90 a pop, gone as fast as they could put them out !

I must disagree, at least for my club, Stiffy.

Match day recipes are a major source of income for Newcastle.
Season ticket sales, corporate and executive boxes, club shop sales, bar and food sales, program sales, are all integral to the profits of the club.

Newcastle have a capacity of 52,000 , sold out every game, overwhelmingly season tickets. They are now in the process of either expanding St. James Park or building a new 70,000 seat stadium to boost match day income, surely they wouldn’t do this If your predictions were true ?

Cheers.
