Wildlife moves into cities or cities expand to encroach on wildlife, the past year I have seen vultures, lots of species of BOP’s coyote, fox, racoon, skunk, reptiles, most cities have wildlife in number.

I don’t discriminate mate an alligator in a reservoir that supply’s the drinking water to Bristol is as interesting as a leopard in the local woods, but easier to explain at around 2ft probably just outgrown someone’s tank and let on, but if a number of alligators were showing up every year it would require a further investigation lol

You reminded me someone pictured a ring neck in a garden in Dorset other day an a few people said they had spread all over London

They are everywhere,I saw 5 different nesting holes today with birds popping in and out.

Not just down south now as well, I've seen them in Derby and Bradford, well, you can always hear them before you see them.

They in the local park by us flying around you hear them then you see them time to time they from Asia originally now they settled in over here you don't hear them talking yet if they do It would be a lot of swearing and rubbish talk from the locals that use the park

Peregrines like them as well.

As do sparrowhawks.

I can easily see a hundred+ a day, first thing in the morning the flocks start flying around the neighbourhood.

Wouldn’t have thought a spar would tangle with one

Yup,they are tiny and lightweight when you hold one, they might look chunky and robust but they aren't.This area is one of the supposed sites they were first released hence the high numbers, there's a decent sized roost not far away of a few thousand birds.
