Seen a few nasty hang ups on those single strand stand off fences, pups all looking well. Doesn’t seem like 5 minutes ago you were posting about them being born

There's never been an abundance of gear local to me bud, when I say local I mean in walking distance from where I live,although a couple of days ago when just a ten mins walk from home I managed to see a Roe,Fox,Rabbits & a Badger too,nice to see them to be honest,what's around here we tend to leave alone,bodies accidentally falling victim to the dog's are inevitable on occasions but as I say we don't intentionally go looking for stuff. There's plenty of gear around if one's prepared to drive for a hour & a half or so & are prepared to run the gauntlet so to speak

I mainly rake about in the daytime mate,my lad will do 90% of the lamping with the dog's these days..I still on occasions go for a few gallops on the lamp, nearly always in the company of the Gamekeeper & or with the farmer's son getting chauffeur driven around the fields..I'm just a part time hunter these day's,I'm out a couple of times weekly throughout the winter & that's about it. I'm the one walking,cleaning,prepping food & feeding the dogs BN of a daily basis,I'm out 6 times a day everyday,hail,rain,snow or sunshine,I've had 4 soakings today with two more to go they certainly ain't my first & definitely won't be my last.

This is my pup Tino out of Boots x his daughter Rose..had a brilliant season with all 3 of the young dog's,they haven't put a foot wrong,Tino caught 3 x teeth on his first try, absolutely spot on he was,Gus the black & tan has been on a couple of teeth & was equally as good as Tino,the little bitch Maggie was a lot slower to come to hand due to being held up for two months with a wrist injury after Gus jumped a gate & landed on her so she hasn't been tried yet,as for other stuff they've caught their fare share both day & night,all 3 retrieve brilliantly & things are looking quite promising as they are still just 15 1/2 month's old..I don't think they will be the best at anything just like their parents but hopefully they will be ok at pretty much everything as they were Looking forward to next season already,they should all be much better dog's by then
