Was planning on taking the dogs out on the Cotswolds for a few hours, sat in the car engine running waiting for the windows to clear a bit when I felt a little bump, my car had been slowly rolling forward and dropped off the tarmac ground is like ice and wheels just couldn’t get traction so there she lies lol took a walk up the canal instead boating regatta cancelled lol

Have said to the misses when the swift dies will get me one of those little jimneys but nearly 200000 miles later the little car has never missed a beat, no back seats use it like a van rag it round the lanes like I stole it and it’s still as sweet as ever guess I will have to wait till next winter for the little 4x4

Same engine mate..even the minus temperature the last few mornings at 5am the engine doesent even turn over just bang starts straight away..suzuki make a cracking engine fair play..

A little jimny will get you over the fields and ruts no bother mate..its surprising where its goes in 2wd without engaging 4wd..they only weight 1.1 ton

Just done 3 miles without a hat,thankfully snow started to come down heavy when I got back home,got it over the weekend and a lot of next week,I can’t see it melting now.Going to feed the birds on a trail later,I was there yesterday even a cardinal was following me but I had no food for them.

Thanks,good luck on the geese,we always found it easy to get permission for ferreting up there,my cousin lives right at the top near Thurso,used to really enjoy going up.
