Who's coming to the Fishing Comp?

Gone bit quiet on here.  For anybody who's never been before, it's a brilliant w/e.

Skill level is unimportant, great venue, people, craic, food, atmosphere, karma for raising money for charidee ? what's not to like?

Good mix of people from several parts of the UK, nice amount of people involved, including the site owners, other people on the site.

Probably about 30-40 adults involved with also about 10 kids of various ages.

And Joe. ?

5 lakes, beautiful setting

 It's a blast ?

Cheers, D

I've recently ( last year) started fishing again , and I really fancied it . It was that whole foxdropper and greyman thing that put me off . It might have put others off as well.?

Foxdropper has said many times he has no interest in coming to the comp …. As DC has said no amount of trouble would be tolerated at the comp and anybody silly enough to start anything would be dealt with short shrift that’s for sure.

This is the 10th year lads...unreal when you think about it started with a yap on the fishing section and has now turned into a yearly social for a good group of lads off here with fishing completely secondary to what it's all about...

Weve raised over £30k over the last 10 years, that in itself is enough to show what the weekend is about..

I can guarantee there will be no trouble, it won't be tolerated, this aint the place/event for any of that shit I can promise you...

If any lads like a food, a yap by the fire, a few beers (or not), a fish if you want, I try and organise something on the Saturday away from camp, most lads stay and socialise...the auction on the Sunday night is a laugh, Sean C and Dytkos have stepped into Johnny's shoes the last couple of years, he won't be replaced, but it still a crack with piss taking and chaos on who is actually bidding on what.... basically its a good get together with like minded lads and zero who can piss the furthest comp..

It would be good to make the 10th year a big one, but I reckon it will be the normal crowd and that's fine...

Anyone who wants to come will be welcome...
