tatsblisters 8,330 Posted June 21, 2023 Report Share Posted June 21, 2023 Talking to a van driver yesterday who works for a middleman on a ton a day he gets feck all in tax breaks one of the reasons he doesn't pay any or NI and the van is kept at work were it's costing him 125 a month to get to he has told us he would be better off working in the warehouse with us with shorter hours and 30 days paid holiday's and with him only being in his late 20s he his looking for better work on the books. That's what i say to them mate i am on nearly that with a job and done that rarely takes us over 5 hours a day's work and with paid holiday's its no wonder most of them have faces liked smacked arses when they reach us at 5pm after starting work at 6am delivering parcels and then doing collection's from numerous businesses. Is that English lads doing those hours for a oner mate . That’s £9 an hour gross minus 20% =£7.27 an hour . Thats way under the minimum wage mate .Somethings not right with that mate .
