3 resident terrapins on one of the pits i fish. I have caught a perch that was then taken by a pike, then that pike was taken by a bigger pike, so playing 3 fish at once/

Was saying exactly that to my missus yesterday, and lamenting the fact that life is short, and I don’t do it nearly enough. It’s always ‘next year’ ☹️

Was out on a mushroom mooch about three weeks ago about 10 o'clock on a still sunny day. I just came out of a wood down by the river with a steep hill running up to my left at the top of the hill under a tree something caught my eye, thought at first it was a sheep in trouble. Was it f**k there was a couple humping. I moved off quick and got about a field away and rang the farmer who I had been talking to earlier and laughing about it. He then told me it may not be a man and a woman as he had seen two people there few days before two blokes one dressed as a woman. I went on down the river mooched around for a while to give them time to finish as I had to go back the way. After about half a hour I was making my way back and f***ing hell they were still at it Lol.

Cheers Arry

I've seen a magpie fighting a stoat, and twice I've seen young pike about 3 or 4 inches long jumping out of the water catching flies and when I was about 14 me and me mate's were swimming in the canal and a mink got in and came right up to us and swam around us for a few minutes, and the funniest one was seen a camel and a pony fighting each other in a field

I was fishing a small river in Spain and landed a cornish pasty on a worm bait. Place was full of terrapins.

Fishing one of the lakes near here I've seen a black kite taking small fish from the surface. It has happened quite a few times so not an isolated incident. This summer a bat was seen flying around my swim on the River Charente around midday. That took things from the surface like swallows do.
