Just don't read his posts. There are a few on here that are far worse than mitre, for ruining threads.

Anyone who has ever detected an area with Roman history will find scraps of lead, they loved the stuff, used it for everything from make-up to plumbing and bowls, leads chemical symbol Pb is from the Latin Plumbum (lead) I have seen a couple of those ingots in a museum in Rome,I wonder the monetary value of the ones found in wales?

Arry 26,747 Posted Friday at 11:31 Author Report Share Posted Friday at 11:31 I haven't put anything up on this thread for a while, so here's a few bits and pieces. A Medieval Annular Buckle. A Saxon stirrup mount. A Tudor rose broach. A Ox Ball for going on the end of Ox or Cows horn. A Lead Seal. George 3rd Sixpence. This harness buckle and horse brass I decided to clean up. I put a new brass pin in the buckle because the iron one had rusted away. Then put a leather belt on it for Wifey. Cheers Arry
Arry 26,747 Posted Friday at 11:35 Author Report Share Posted Friday at 11:35 I found the Hasp but its a real puzzle to me as it has no fixing holes. Any body recognise it or seen one before. I would love some info on it. Cheers Arry
