tomburras 2,730
Hi all! I got these today, I was wondering if anyone had any info about them? I'm trying to find out what the markings mean? I got the date and know they where fired in France but that's all I know. Cheers!
Born Hunter 17,960
Not really my thing but it looks like a 76mm calibre, which even today is a common calibre.

THE STIFFMEISTER 17,544
Yes mate !! Those numbers On the tape are sequential and are spaced over the Exact distance apart so you can use it to measure how big or wide an item is , good bit of kit , can be used for loads of different objects as a “measuring tape “ . Hard to tell but the brand could be Stanley or might have been the owners name . mighy be worth a few quid in while , but they aren’t really collectors items at present .

chartpolski 28,505
German, made by Haniel Leuge, Brass works, Düsseldorf. Dates are self explanatory, and the numbers beneath the "HL" will probably be an inspectors mark. Cheers.

Lol I didn’t zoom in and see it was in fact Bob on 76. Could’ve been anywhere around there at a glance. However now you ask, I used my encyclopaedic library of knowledge brain bank to recall similar gun calibres.
