His radio took the impact and the second chamber jammed. The forensics examined the gun and it worked perfectly every time. Despite that he regularly used to say: "With my luck it will be raining on my day off / my car won't start / ther'll be nothing on the menu I like.........." I just used to say: "Shut the feck up because if that first round had jammed you'd have never made Sergeant while you had a hole in your arris!"
