I think you got my point completely.. 

You made some big statements about soldiers being thick, only used as cannon fodder etc etc... you would not say the same to someones face... he's one lad who when he was injured continued to support other soldiers with actions, not words, he is certainly not thick and would tell you to f**k off if you said that to him.. the same as Socks and Stiff on here... you've just thrown a shit load of negativity towards our armed forces as you love the "west is the enemy" theory in every situation... so the lads serving are just another object for you to try and point score off.. I'm not disputing our governements, and every ruling desspot in the world aint the real wankers, it's been seen too many times to try and argue against... but lads that choose the forces as their career aren't thick because they do the deeds of the government... we are all governed one way or another, we all have to dance to the tune, it's a fact of life... you are no different.. so chucking insults around and calling people sheep, as if it puts you above them in some weird way, is either just attention seeking for the sake of it, a big wind up (my guess) or you just a bit of a c**t....

Whats the difference that he's lost a leg? he don't feel sorry for himself, the only thing he felt sorry about is he couldn't do the job he loved anymore... and that aint bullshit for the sake of a post...

To you he is the same as anyone else who has gone to war..thick and cannon fodder (your words).. 

I don't need to listen to some old teacher or anyone else, I know they are not thick (well not all of them lol)... and the jobs they do are as varied as in any other walk of life, the difference is they will do those jobs in the harshest environments (not just war zones)...

As far as the west doing what the west does... we have all lived a pretty privileged life in comparison to many due to this little country punching well above it weight for 100s of years... I don't agree with everything that goes on... but lets not pretend we would rather be in a mud hut eating fleas off our siblings rather than the cushy life we all have due to our expertise and exploitation through our military

Just out of interest ,why do you think the West is so terrible ? and before you give me a long list of crimes and sins that you suppose the West to be guilty of (both real and imaginary )ask yourself if they are exclusive to the West . Are eastern ,Asian ,African countries innocent of any wrong doing ?
