Don't even need a rod there, just hand speed and a shallow stream lol

Two types of soldier.... Evolved smart types, like Stiff, who see a borehole and talk about strata. And then there's Neanderthals, like you, who see a bore-hole and probably try to f**k it! Give

Remember watching a documentary about marlin fishing around the ascension island , looked amazing ?

Regarded by many as the greatest spear fishing destination on the planet!

Its also remarkable ecologically. The island is naturally nothing but generally inhospitable rock. “Hell without the fires” one described it as. Then they took hundreds of different species of plant there to try to get something to grow. Eventually finding some that would and literally turned the mountain green! This lead to rain clouds forming and precipitation increasing which further fuelled the greenery.

It also lead to a disaster for what natural ecosystem there was before man.

Nonetheless its a remarkable example of terraforming!

Iirc the falklands has feral herds of caribou/reindeer. They also have some great looking wild trout fishing (a lad on here posted about it while he was posted down there).

If it was possible to go down there, cull some caribou and roam about spinning for trout and whatever else at an economical cost, I’d be all over it.

YES!….I was down there with Mark Cuban……. Well, not just the Cubes, but Chris Daughtry, Jeff Probst, super chef Bobby Flay. I mean, it was insane. It was almost too much.

Water wells or are you interested in the geology? What sort of instrumentation do you use? Downhole tools like wireline?

I'm out of all that now.
