Back in the day,most coppers were ex forces and had abit of something about them,happy to give you a dig,and you took it on the chin,part and parcel of the game....thanks to Tony Blair any old f***ing freak can join these days,all about diversity and statistics now....always someone else's fault...

Many years ago my old mum lived in a flat down the road, nice little block.

She was late 70s at the time, just her and her little dog.

Anyway, they moved one of these problem drunk type blokes into a flat down stairs, big bory f****r with a shaved head and all that, always having a row with someone and pretty intimidating to the rest of the residents….you know the type.

So late one afternoon im sat in my shops office and my mum phoned, sounds scared to death and I can hear all sorts of shouting and banging in the back ground, she says the bloke is smashing on her door and saying he is going to stab her and her dog !! (Don’t ask me what the dog was meant to have done ! Lol ) 

So I say “right, on my way”

Got there and there this f***ing animal on the top landing shouting and screaming and threatening to kill everyone, anyway, he got into a bit of a pickle and ended up in quiet a bad way at the bottom of the stairs.

The police came and I told them this bloke had been threatening to kill people….first words out of their mouth “Has anyone assaulted this man ?!!!” 
 

I couldn’t believe it, I said “No, he fell down the stairs but never mind that there a 78 year old woman up there terrified you utter prat !…..”

Someone  had called the bloke an ambulance but fair play to the paramedics they checked my mum first and spent a bit of time with her, meanwhile matey had regained consciousness and done a runner. 
 

Old bill couldn’t have give a shit about her !

I'm lost for words on how we're getting shafted an we do nothing again,no wonder the britain an Ireland are a laughing stock,were being taxed straight out our wages,an it's far from benefitting us,police ambulance an hospital,its vital services that our tax should be paying for,but it ain't?

I’m planning on paying 15k and moving to Andorra in the next few years. Flat rate 10% tax on all income, cheap cost of living, government bodies and services all function at one of the highest levels in Europe (especially the health services), most people are trilingual (Catalan, Spanish and English), easy to get a firearms/hunting license, excellent education system (just in case she decides she wants kids lol), very low crime rate, cheap smokes, plenty of hiking and skiing on the doorstep

Still some decent coppers left but not many. Don’t get me started on tax ,first 325,000 inheritance is free the rest , cash, cars, jewellery, property is 40% taxed , solicitors are £20,000 fuking rip off

Offshore everything. Create a company, put the beneficiaries as directors. Put the house up as “collateral” which will no doubt be lost due to poor turnover and high overheads and now owned by the company… Malta is nice this time of year

I've recently made my will, and everything goes to my grandson, including the house, so the IT threshold goes up to £500,000.

I also have a trust fund for him that isn't included in the IT threshold.

Its a disgraceful tax. We have been taxed on earnings, investments, etc, then the money is taxed again with Inheritance Tax.

Whatever happened to "double jeopardy " ?

With regards to the police here there useless my cousin joined up lasted 3 months and she’s no quitter Friday night in local town which is kind of hub of nights out had her couple months in an experienced sergeant and a lass in the station ansewaring and making descisons on where to send them that was less than 2 weeks on job they reckon theyve half the lads on video taking gear and are in everyone’s pockets 

 

12 years ago me and couple lads got seen walking down a road with a black bag no dogs they where away local prick of an of duty cop called it in 17 police turned up where doing beating lines searching for snares in middle of stubble fields ended up with a 300 fine for removal of carcass without land owners permission 

 

ex local community cop was great when we were teenagers we respected him as did he a word in an ear went a long way now there all either overweight couldn’t run end of them selves or ex uni softys that are attempting to get first two years on beat out the way to get in to cid or office jobs no people skills no street scence nothing
